We believe that God has uniquely called this church to present the Gospel in an uncomplicated and common sense way. Under the leadership of Rev Danny Robbins, we want Cedar Grove to truly be a church passionately committed to Christ, His Cause, and His Community.
With a passion and zeal for the lost and hurting world, Cedar Grove is looking for ways to build bridges to a cynical and jaded society. We aim to take a different approach in reaching out and helping people along the journey. Cedar Grove UPC is a part of the United Pentecostal Church International based in St. Louis, MO. HISTORY In 1949 Walter Meredith, a bible school student at Pentecostal Bible Institute, was directed of God to drive and He would show him a place to build a church. He came upon a grove of cedar trees and started a brush arbor there, after receiving permission from the land owner. God moved and revival broke out in Tupelo and a church was established. God has seamlessly transitioned Cedar Grove throughout the years through the ministries of Rev. Fred Foster, Rev. R.P. Kloepper, Rev. Cecil Greenway, and now Rev. Danny R. Robbins. As a result Cedar Grove Pentecostal Church is a growing, family-oriented church today, a place where you will feel right at home. |
